Hello again! In case you want to know more about me:
I was born and raised in Longview, Texas. In high school, I was involved in various extracurriculars (Yearbook, Broadcast, UIL Academics, Theatre, Student Council).  I've always been a firm believer in the whole "everything happens for a reason" mindset, and I thank my high school self every day for choosing these activities.

When I first applied to college, I thought I wanted to be a business major. After all, it seemed like a sturdy profession. Then, I had a change of heart. I wanted to become an elementary school teacher because of the impact my third-grade teacher had on me.

Fast forward to orientation--things were still going well, I still wanted to be a teacher. However, by the time I moved in and had more of a glimpse into the teaching world, I realized I was in the wrong place. I no longer wanted to be a teacher. It was the second day of school and I had until Friday to change classes.

I had no clue what I wanted to do, so I used the resources they showed at orientation and I took a personality quiz. With my results, I looked at professions where people with my personality flourish. Low and behold, Public Relations was at the top of the list.

It all happened pretty quickly once I arrived at UNT -- everything seemed to fall into place.

I finished my degree-specific coursework a year early, and I spent my last year of undergrad taking various electives and completing internships. A month after graduation, I started my career as a Public Relations Specialist for Content Pilot. To be frank, I had no clue what I was going to do after I crossed the stage in May of 2019. I moved to Dallas and hoped with all my might that things would work out, and they did.

Life comes at you fast. My advice? Trust your instincts and embrace what life throws at you with open arms.
